Proceedings of the 2nd International Multidisciplinary Congress on Empathy and the 2nd Meeting of the Ibero-American Network of Empathy

The proceedings of the 2nd International Multidisciplinary Congress on Empathy and the 2nd Meeting of the Ibero-American Network of Empathy compile a collection of academic and scientific contributions aimed at understanding and promoting empathy across multiple disciplines. The event, held on August 8 and 9, 2024, at Universidad del Norte (Colombia), brought together researchers from Latin America, Europe, and the United States, who presented papers on the role of empathy in health, education, technology, the environment, spirituality, and other areas of knowledge.

This volume seeks to consolidate a body of knowledge that fosters reflection, intercultural dialogue, and social transformation through the recognition of others from a humanistic perspective.
